Jack
After a few weeks of searching for a horse to buy we came across Jack. We simply saw him and bought him. We were taken by the way he just stood there, placid as can be - allowing Kaysha to walk under his tummy without so much as a twitch of the ear.
He is a thoroughbred and we don't know for sure if he has been raced. Someone had a look at his legs and suspects he may have been due to the many little dots/mini scars on his lower forelegs. The man said these could be a result of having been regularly injected with something. We don't know if the man is right but do know that Jack has grown up to be a very calm and gentle horse.
Jack is great. He is a friendly boy who has no nasty habits towards people. And to ride he can be a goer or a stubborn lazy lad - depending on the experience of the rider at the time. We are very happy with him and are glad we found him.
He takes traffic, dogs, new places and even a wooden bridge with loose boards all in his stride. He is a good natured boy who was at the lower end of the pecking order in the small group of horses he shared a paddock with. We have now moved him to another paddock which he shares with just one horse named Wakka.
